Muqaddas Zaheer here, a GIS and Remote Sensing researcher and the Founder of Geo Technology, with a strong academic background in geospatial sciences. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Remote Sensing and GIS from Government College University Faisalabad during the 2020–2024 session. My academic training has provided me with a solid foundation in spatial data analysis, geospatial modeling, satellite image processing, and environmental and land-use applications.
During my studies, I started freelancing in GIS and Remote Sensing, working on both national and international projects, which allowed me to apply my knowledge to real-world challenges while still pursuing my degree. I regularly share my projects, research insights, and updates on LinkedIn, helping fellow professionals and students stay informed and inspired in the GIS/RS field.
My research interests focus on GIS-based spatial analysis, Remote Sensing applications, environmental monitoring, land use and land cover (LULC) change analysis, and geospatial decision-support systems. I am actively involved as a Researcher at PBO, contributing to data-driven studies that integrate geospatial technologies with practical problem-solving. I have also guided students with their research projects, theses, and final year projects (FYPs), offering technical support in GIS and Remote Sensing methodologies.
Through Geo Technology, my goal is to promote research-oriented learning, bridge the gap between theory and practical geospatial applications, and support the academic and professional GIS community. I also manage a Facebook community of over 6,000 members, where I share research insights, GIS/RS resources, and learning opportunities to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing among students and professionals worldwide.
